Buttons, Buttons and more Buttons, till there is only one Button left.

Nowadays we use a lot of buttons. Twinfield made a nice movie about buttons and how they help us getting our live easier. What happens when you push the button?

It surprises me almost everyday how amazing simple it is to import something from almost anything into Twinfield with a little help from my friend, Excel.

A lot of POS systems have the possibility to create consistent CSV, ASCII or Excel files. If you have such a file it is easy to copy-paste-link this file into a Twinfield format. So if you don’t have the resources to create XML files or a direct interface with Twinfield. Try Excel; my friend. Nog steeds zijn er veel bedrijven die facturen met de (post)bode rondbrengen. Dit kan er voor zorgen dat facturen lang onderweg zijn voordat ze bij uw cliënt bezorgd zijn. Twinfield heeft hier een goede oplossing voor: Facturen mailen rechstreeks vanuit uw administratie! De facturen worden direct in uw administratie geboekt waardoor uw administratie gelijk is bijgewerkt. Wij hebben een leuk filmpje voor u zodat u dit met eigen ogen kunt zien.

Op dit moment is de Stichting BAB druk bezig met het inventariseren van de gebruikte kassasystemen op Curaçao. Ze hebben waarschijnlijk een sterk vermoeden dat er veel omzet verzwegen wordt en daarom zijn ze op zoek naar een oplossing van dit probleem. Zoals we van de enquêteur hebben begrepen zit het BAB te denken aan een online kassasysteem of een printer met een chip waar je de facturen mee moet printen, waarbij de ondernemingen verplicht worden om dergelijke apparatuur aan te schaffen. Hoe zit dat nu als je een werkmaatschappij en een holding hebt; moet je dan 2 van deze apparaten aanschaffen? Met dergelijke oplossingen gaan ze voorbij aan de huidige technische ontwikkelingen. Steeds meer bedrijven versturen de facturen per mail. Bijvoorbeeld alle verhuurders van vakantie appartementen mailen hun facturen, een aantal accountantskantoren doen het. Dit is een trend die we de komende jaren ook op Curaçao sterk zullen zien toenemen. Bij het digitaal factureren is het bedrijf niet meer afhankelijk van persoonlijke bezorging waardoor de kosten afnemen. Bijvoorbeeld Twinfield Online Accounting biedt deze mogelijkheid; in een handomdraai heb je al je facturen tijdig bezorgd bij je cliënten. Wie wil dit niet?

This time a piece of some one else’s mind. Sometimes it is better to borrow something good instead of creating something less good. As an accountant in business educating young people and giving new knowledge to accountants with a lot of experience I regularly think: As an accountant you need a lot of skill; computing, communicating, changing IFRS etc etc.  Who wants to be the next good accountant that is also an accountant that is good?
